Preheat a heavy, deep pan over medium-high heat with olive oil. Add ground beef and stir to break down beef into tiny pieces. Add onions and pressed garlic. Saute until the onion is translucent and golden brown. Add sliced mushrooms and saute for another 5 minutes. Add flour and stir until fully incorporated.


Steps. Heat the olive oil over medium high heat in a large pan. Season the beef with salt and pepper on all sides. Add half of the beef to the pan in a single layer. Brown for 3-4 minutes on each side. Add the meat to the slow cooker. Repeat the browning process with the other half of the beef. Add the mushrooms and onion to the pan and cook.


In the same pan, melt butter. Stir in flour until smooth; gradually add broth and tomato paste. Bring to a boil; cook and stir until thickened, about 2 minutes. Carefully return beef mixture to the pan. Add the sour cream, salt and pepper; cook and stir until heated through (do not boil).


Directions. In a large skillet brown beef in oil over medium high heat. When meat is browned, drain excess fat from skillet. Add garlic powder, salt and pepper and stir in. Add bouillon, onion and mushrooms to skillet and saute until onions are translucent. Remove from heat (very important) and add sour cream.


Beef + Noodles. Add the beef to the sauce and bring the sauce to a boil over medium/high heat. Turn heat to low and add in the noodles. Toss so that all of the noodles are covered in sauce. Let everything simmer together over low heat until warmed through. Serve with fresh thyme or fresh parsley on top.
